Measureluxury Garage Doors does not have staff who visit your home. When you call or send a request, you are connected with an independent garage door provider in our network. That provider answers your questions, gives an estimate and does the work if you hire them.

What a Provider May Ask You

Expect a few simple questions. Having answers ready helps you get a more accurate quote.

• What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or not opening?
• How old is the door and the opener?
• Is it wood, steel or another material?
• Has it been repaired before?
• Is the home older, with past patch work?

Questions to Ask the Provider

A fair quote is one you understand. Try these:

• What is included in the price, and what could add to it?
• Will you replace parts or repair them? Why?
• Does track alignment need work, or just the springs?
• Is the quote in writing?
• What upkeep should I do after the job?
• Do you offer emergency garage service, and how does that affect cost?

Older Homes and Surprises

In an older house, ask whether the framing, old hardware or earlier repairs could change the scope. A good provider will explain this before starting, not after.

The Decision Is Yours
